Vrnjacka banja (spa) is the most popular Serb spa, and the one with the longest tradition. Present name Vrnjacka spa is named after the village Vrnjci.

On the basis of archaeological material found can be claimed that the mineral water used Vrnjacka even in the ancient age. Vrnjacka on the hot mineral springs the Romans built a sanatorium Aquae Orcinae.

Vrnjacka spa, with seven mineral resources, of which four are used for therapy balneoloski.

Prince Mihailo opened the first season (1867), following which the spa became a fashionable holiday resort.

Exploitation of mineral resources Vrnjacka spa was started in 1970. Popular water "Vrnjci" began very quickly to market wins. The beneficial hot and cold mineral springs, and the beauty and peace of the unspoiled nature surrounding it make this spa the perfect retreat for those desiring a period of tranquility and wellbeing. Indications: digestive tract disorders, diabetes, kidney, urinary tract, and cardio-vascular disorders.
